Using Jesus Name Is Faith And Obedience **Paul, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, to the faithful in Christ who hold fast the testimony of His name: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.** Brethren, I write unto you concerning the name that is above every name—the name of **Jesus**, the Christ of God, whom the world rejected, but whom God hath highly exalted. You know, beloved, how the Lord declared by the prophet, saying, *“They shall look upon Me whom they have pierced, and shall mourn for Him as for an only son.”* (Zechariah 12:10). And this He spake of Jesus, whom you have received, not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. Now I beseech you, brethren, that you **no longer walk as those who stumble at the Word**, even though it was first delivered unto them. For Moses indeed prophesied, *“The Lord shall raise up a Prophet like unto me; Him shall you hear.”* And that Prophet is Jesus, the one whom you crucified, but whom God raised from the dead. Do not be deceived by those who seek to honor the shell but deny the glory. They say, “Call Him Yeshua, for that is His Jewish name,” yet in their hearts they deny **His incarnation**, His cross, and His resurrection. They honor Him with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him. But unto us, the mystery is revealed: **That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow**, of things in heaven, things on earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that **Jesus Christ is Lord**, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10–11) Therefore, hold fast the name by which you are saved—not a name as men reckon names, but the name **given among men whereby we must be saved.** (Acts 4:12) Shall we return to the shadow when we have received the substance? Shall we speak as the unbelieving speak to gain favor with those who reject the Son? God forbid. Let us not seek to please men, but to please Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us. Henceforth, **let no man trouble you with vain speech or genealogies**, for we bear in our hearts the marks of Christ Jesus. He is Lord of both Jew and Gentile, and His name shall be called JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21) Now the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Stand firm in His name, for the truth is in Him. **To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.** With love in Christ Jesus, **Paul, an apostle of the Lord not by man, but by the calling of God**
